PROTOTYPING CONTEST FOR THE ACCELERATION OF INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROJECTS
One of the missions of the School of Engineering is to transform the knowledge generated, in our classrooms and laboratories, into innovations and technological ventures that allow for the acceleration of Chile’s development by addressing challenges and problems that afflict society.
In 2016, as part of the Engineering 2030 project, the Directorate of Research and Innovation of the School of Engineering launched the first “Prototyping Contest for the Acceleration of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Projects”, with the aim of supporting preliminary stages of prototyping and experimentation in innovation projects by members of the School's community (students, academics and management teams) to accelerate the transition between the generation of an idea and its transfer to society as a product or service.
